Ryan, Jen, Rachel and Alex came down to visit us this weekend. It was so much fun to have them here! We took them to Babe's for dinner on Friday night.
Babe's is a Texas "must" for true Southern dining. We enjoyed fried chicken, chicken fried steak, smoked chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, sweet creamed corn, green beans, biscuits and gravy. You can't leave until you're stuffed! Chris and Sarah introduced us to this fine Texas establishment.
While we were eating, the waitresses invited Sydney and Rachel to come up and dance with them. They were so cute together. Syd would never have done it alone . . .
Chris, Kali and Cameron came over on Saturday for a barbecue and swim with us. Chris, Keith and Ryan had a chance to hang out and we played some games. Sam and Kali played Uno together! Later that evening, we played "Ticket to Ride" (Ryan, Jen, Keith, Sam and I)Thank you Matt, Mindy, Jay, Mike, Shawn, Alex and Joshua. Sam loves her new game!!

So glad you had friends to visit and spend time with! We can't wait until we can come and visit too! We are loving "Ticket to Ride" also! Will look forward to playing with you guys sometime soon!
wow that looks fun and warm! we went to seaside for the fourth of july and it was cold and misty. the smoke lingered in the air so we couldnt see the fireworks. i found out today that it was in the 90s while we were gone. that always happens. did you know that they have an american girl place in dallas??? <3 Sydney
