Christmas in the Northwest

What an immense blessing to spend two weeks in the Northwest with family and friends! These pictures of my husband and nephews were from Christmas Day. The highlight this year was listening to my daughter Sam read the Christmas Story from the Bible and the rest of the family act it out. Jay dressed up as Joseph and marched into the family room. We all turned our attention to him and he made it clear that his acting days would have to wait. In a pinch, Matt took the role as Joseph, the "older years". Sydney played the part of Mary and David was the perfect Baby Jesus. Mom and Mindy were the shepherds; Keith, Alex and I were the wise men; Joshua was the angel, but apparently Poppop tried to steal his part by upstaging him:) Shawn and Mike were both our audience and our video experts. What a hoot!

The Dore Family invited us to spend the day sledding with them at Snoqualmie Pass. We had a super time with their family and enjoyed the beauty of the Northwest in this winter wonderland:)

We were able to visit with Keith's cousin Nate, Deann and their two girls Sonja & Freya:)

We also enjoyed spending some time with Keith's parents, their cat Princess, Aunt Sue, Uncle Rob and Sam and Syd's cousins (Matthew, Andrew, Brandon and Becca)

We enjoyed a relaxing Christmas Day with my parents, my sister Shawn, Mike, Alex, Josh, my brother Matt, Mindy, Jay and David:)

We enjoyed catching up with Keith's brother Peter and Kim at a great Thai restaurant in Downtown Bellevue.


Keith's sister Karen had us over for lunch after church and we enjoyed chatting with family.
