We took Syd to IHOP this morning for her birthday breakfast. We were up and on the road by 6:45 am. After stuffing ourselves with bacon, eggs and stacks of pancakes we dropped Syd and Sam off for school and headed home.
Syd brought birthday treats for her class and after school I picked her up for her manicure/pedicure. Syd is always begging me to have her nails done and I finally relented. . . I guess she was always destined to be a Dallas girl. As I watched her relax in a foot bath, I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of the experience. (glamour girl vs. natural girl)
Syd picked "shepherds pie" for her birthday meal and a cookie cake for dessert.
