Mint Tea

I made my first batch of "Mint Tea" today. It's an old family recipe. . .
Dad brought me some mint from his backyard, so I can continue the tradition. Mom always made it for us growing up and her mom made it too. It smells like summer . . .

Sam & Syd we're happy to guzzle it down after swimming in the pool today.
(90 degree weather!) I also transplanted the tomato plant that Syd started and the corn that Sam picked out. We'll see how they do. I really hope to start a real garden by next year.

I am so coming up to visit you!!! That is my favorite tea on this planet!! Mom always made it from Nana's recipe too. I loooooove it!
Good Luck with the garden. My thumb is slightly "black" so I don't ever have much more than tomatoes. ;)

Hooray for mint! I haven't used my mint in my container garden yet and I've been meaning to make that tea (Matt, especially, would be thrilled). We're trying to stay cool with our warm weather this week (in the upper 70s and low 80s every day for a while now). That tea really would hit the spot about now.
