Well, the girls are back to school this week and happy to be independent of Mom and Dad! And to think as a kid that I wanted to be homeschooled . . . Not Sam & Syd! Here is a picture of Syd after her first bus ride in the third grade!
We missed the first two weeks of school due to the teacher's strike. I think the plan is to eliminate Winter break and shorten Christmas break to make up the days.
Sam is in 7th grade this year at ECS and currently at their Middle School Retreat. They start off the year with fun and fellowship!
A big thank you to Grandma & Grandpa for making it possible for Sam to continue this year at ECS! She is so appreciative and so are we. Thank you!
Sam & Syd are continuing with gymnastics this year. Sam is starting the trampoline and tumbling class this Fall and Syd is in the first year of pre-team gymnastics.
I started an evening Bible study at church this Fall and am enjoyed the Beth Moore study called The Patriarchs. Mindy is going too! We're hoping to get more involved with our church this year.

No the kids will not be back at school till maybe Thurs. Their school is sitll without power and had a bit of damage. They are rejoicing...me not so much.;)

they did get back to school yesterday,(Fri.)but with generators.
